| What you think... ‘The best skiing holiday ever, because of the chalet and Beth, Simon & Guy who were the best.’ Mrs Petheram, Chalet Montana, March 2008 This is our flagship chalet and it truly is the jewel in our crown. Its location could not be better, opposite the Bellecote piste, with easy access to the slopes and very close to the Bergerie restaurant, which is great for an après-ski tipple. It is also just a few minutes walk down to the village centre for forays into the shops or the vibrant nightlife! A champagne reception welcomes you to this chalet which boasts fantastic views across the valley and is built and finished to very high standards with a wonderfully orchestrated fusion of contemporary and traditional styles.  The living areas are second to none with a
split level sitting/dining area encompassing a
huge open fire. There are massive, deep
sofas to sink into, from which to contemplate
the views from inside, and a south facing
balcony to catch some rays and enjoy the
views from outside. The chalet also has a
home cinema area with a flat screen TV, Sky,
superb sound system and a BOSE
Sound Dock allowing you to fill the
room with your own sounds from your iPod.Downstairs there is a Jacuzzi suite with plasma screen TV and shower area, a stunning Hammam with wonderful handpainted frescoes of mountain scenes. There's also a games room for those who feel that relaxing in the hot tub is just too laid back! There is a glorious master bedroom complete with its own fireplace, plasma screen TV and a fabulous bathroom. All the bedrooms are ensuite and come equipped with fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers and luxury complimentary toiletries. Each morning you can be woken with tea in bed followed by a fantastic full English breakfast with fresh bread & croissants, steaming bowls of porridge, cereals and all the usual trimmings. Following breakfast, you can then just saunter down stairs, slip into your warmed ski boots, cross the road and get on the piste. It couldn't be easier! In the afternoon return to your glorious chalet to be greeted by a cake or biscuits freshly baked by your chalet host, a pot of tea, fresh coffee or a warming and welcoming hot chocolate. If you prefer the more healthy option, ask your chalet host to prepare a savoury dish instead, the choice is yours. |
