Chalet Petite Val is brilliantly located just a minutes stroll away from the piste in the morning and right in the centre of this busy, vibrant resort and the bewildering array of après ski activities that Courchevel 1850 has to offer! The open-plan dining and sitting area of this maisonette-style apartment has stunning views of a pretty little church nestling in front of the wide mountain panorama and plenty of room for ten people to spread out for a quiet night in. On the other hand with the all the shops, cafes, bars and nightclubs that beckon from right outside your door...you may find it very difficult to let yourself stay in and relax at all! Dinner is always a key feature of any Supertravel holiday and you will have your taste buds wooed every night with a tantalising three-course meal accompanied with red and white wine. In the morning you will be eased back into the day by the welcome smell and sounds of your chalet host preparing a feast of a full English Breakfast and porridge as well as bread fresh from the bakery, patisseries and cereal. After which you need only amble downstairs to the private locker room, slip into your toasty warm ski boots (dried over night on the electric boot warmers), grab your skis and toddle off to the Croisette lift station just 150m away...If only the skiing itself was as simple... On your return you can settle down on the large south-facing balcony with a delicious slice (or three!) of succulent home-baked cake as you watch the last few skiers idling down the piste. All six bedrooms are very spacious for a resort centre chalet. Each one is ensuite and has it's own balcony with breathtaking views of either the slopes or the valley below and, very unusually, each has it's own kitchenette complete with your own personal fridge...(Great for the duty frees!). Four of the rooms also have an adjoining bunk room for maximum spreading opportunities if you are a varied group. You will be welcomed to your room on arrival with a complimentary set of Molton Brown toiletries to pamper yourself with. NB. Please note staff live in. |
