Hotel Krone 4*
The Hotel Krone has been in Lech since the 1700’s and has an amazing location being next to the river running right through the centre of the village. The Pfefferkorn family have owned and ran the hotel for the last 140 years and the hotel has been regularly refurbished and updated but hasn’t lost any of its charm and character. This truly a top class hotel with an amazing location and amazing facilities.
Rooms
The hotel has 91 rooms and suites spread between 6 different categories. Each room has TV, radio, telephone, Internet connection, hair dryer, double sinks, mini bar, safe and most have balconies. The rooms are of good size with the standard room measuring 26m2 going right up to a 70m2 romantic suite.
Facilities
The Aqua castle and Krone spa and beauty facility is probably the best in the area. It would be easy to forget your skiing and just spend the week relaxing here. Every type of massage, treatment and facility you could wish for. The hotel features a relaxation zone, finish sauna, vitality sauna, herbal steam bath, Turkish steam bath, tepidarium, indoor pool, contrast bath, fitness studio, water vitality zone and an outdoor whirlpool. You will be thoroughly pampered!
Dining
The food the hotel is superb – the restaurant is that good that it has been included in the Austrian Good restaurant guide. The Panorama restaurant is reserved for guests of the hotel and serve a mix of local specialties and international cuisine. The buffet style breakfast really sets you for the day and on a Sunday they start you off with a Champagne breakfast – well this is Lech!
