| Intro The Tsantelena hotel has been a central point in Val d’Isere and owned by the Mattis family since 1948. The hotel gives you great access to both the resort and the slopes being only 100m from the ‘Front des Neige’. The hotel has gone through a gradual refurbishment over the last few years and is a very strong 3 star property. Rooms The Tsantelena has 60 rooms and 11 suites in 5 different categories giving plenty of scope for different sized groups. All rooms are designed in a mountain house style, furnished with natural wood and quality soft furnishings and offering a cosy and warm atmosphere. Each room is provided with satellite TV, telephone and most of them have a balcony. There is Wifi access throughout the hotel. Facilities For anyone that still has energy left after pounding the pistes the Tsantelena hotel has a fitness room for its guests. However, the relaxing sauna and steam room come in more handy to ease those legs after a long day skiing the Espace Killy. If you like to be pampered then the hotel can also provide treatments and massages. Dining The Chef, Mr Jérôme Labrousse has a great local reputation for his cuisine. During the week if you take the half board option, as well as the normal 4 course set menu, they will provide feature buffets showing off the skills of the kitchen.
