Chateau des Vigiers
Chateau des Vigiers 4 Star Hotel

Chateau Des Vigiers is a superb golf holiday resort, tucked away in the dramatic rural landscape of south west France’s Aquitaine region. It is located just 25 minutes West of Bergerac airport and an hour and 15 minutes East of Bordeaux airport. Guests can choose from a number of different accommodation options, all of which ooze the traditional and quintessential charm of the estate’s surroundings. The historic chateau, which dominates the landscape, was fully restored in 1991, and is a classic French chateau.

Set amidst the famous vineyards of this unspoiled region, Chateau des Vigiers offers its guests two uniquely different hotel experiences, tailored to individual tastes and requirements. You may want to indulge in the romance and decadence of one of the 25 rooms in the historic chateau or its Dépendances with their 36 individually-decorated rooms and suites. Alternatively maybe you would prefer the modern environment of Relais des Vigiers, offering 40 spacious and contemporary rooms, ideal for families and golfers.

The Donald Steel-designed course at Vigiers is the centre-piece of the resort. The original 18 holes opened in 1991 and a further 9 holes were added in 2008. There are 2 spectacular finishing holes in front of the Chateau, which provide a great end to your round. The hotel also has a superb Spa and Wellness complex and of course still produces its own wine!

Famed for its superb gastronomy, the Dordogne region produces some of the world’s finest food including Foie Gras and Truffles as well as red, white and rosé Bergerac wines. The Chateau des Vigiers restaurants serve a superb range of fresh, seasonal and local food Restaurant Les Fresques is situated in the 16th Century château. Recently awarded its first Michelin Star, Les Fresques offers a sophisticated and sumptuous dining experience, complemented by an extensive wine list. Brasserie Le Chai is set in the old wine making building and offers a more informal and relaxed dining experience, also serving lighter meals and snacks.
