A terrific resort golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, that makes clever use of the natural terrain and mature vegetation, with some sharp dog legs and narrow approaches to bunkered greens. Water comes into play on 9 holes, but it doesn't feel too intrusive, and by the time you have played it a couple of times you should be eyeing a decent score.

Palmaraie Golf Palace is the most complete golf resort in Morocco, and located just 10 minutes north of Marrakech in the Palmaraie palm forest. The Palmeraie combines all the luxuries you would expect of a modern resort but with Moroccan architectural style and influences.

The 18-hole golf course winds its way around the resort, and there is an excellent spa (with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, steam room, gym, squash courts, beauty treatments, massage, hydrotherapy and hair-dresser). The 5 swimming pools (2 heated), contained within beautiful gardens are the real highlight of the resort. There are also tennis courts, bowling, horse riding and a children's club at the Palmaraie Golf Palace.
