Ski Holidays In Whistler

Whistler

With the largest ski area in North America and an average snowfall of over 9 metres it is easy to see why so many skiers cross the Atlantic to Whistler. Off the slopes the varied activities, après ski and the great selection of accommodation complete the resort to make this a dream destination.

Whistler is great for skiers and boarders of all abilities, with 2 mountains, three glaciers, 12 bowls, more than 200 marked runs, powder chutes, mogul fields, tree skiing and the famed Whistler powder. What more could you possibly want?

If you have dreamt of an empty mountain and

untouched powder you have to try the Fresh Tracks programme. This offers you a great breakfast on the mountain from 7.30am then as soon as the ski patrol give the go ahead you are free to enjoy the mountain before most people are out of bed.

With such a big mountain how do you know where to go? Don’t worry Whistler has it covered, the locals volunteer to act as Mountain Hosts and offer complimentary orientation tours. It’s a great way to open your eyes to this huge ski area.

The award winning Nintendo Terrain parks

and pipes at Whistler include terrain for all abilities. The parks are designed with progression in mind, so novices to experts can call a park their own.

With all of the powder bowls you’re never far away from untracked snow but if you really want to explore take Powder Mountain Cat skiing into the Whistlers back country. Your day will consist of an average of 7,000 to 10,000 vertical feet of untracked powder. Have an unforgettable day of cat skiing or snowboarding in some of the most spectacular alpine scenery in the world.
