Chalet Cook
RESORT MANAGER – COURCHEVEL 1850

Essential Experience
A management role in a European ski season chalet environment looking after numerous properties and a large amount of staff. Good skiing/snowboarding ability. Winter driving. Budget management.

The Role
Complete responsibility and management of all the chalets and staff of the company in your resort. You will ensure all chalets are delivering the Supertravel product to the highest standard with all paperwork correct and up to date and monitor all budgets. You will be on call to deal with any emergencies and guest requests and have excellent problem solving skills. You will manage the health and safety aspects in the chalets and ensure the chalets are working to all legally required standards. You will need to be experienced in logistics and planning ahead and communicating to a team. You will also need to communicate and report to the head office managers in London on a daily basis.

CHALET MANAGER - CHALET EDEN ROCK ST ANTON

Essential Experience
Successfully completed multiple ski seasons. Supervised or managed multiple chalets or a hotel. Managed a ski season chalet or hotel team Good skiing/snowboarding ability. Experience of driving 9 seater minibuses in winter seasons.

The Role
Managing your chalet team to ensure they provide an excellent product to our guests by training, monitoring and supporting staff. You will manage the chalet’s budget, ensure all paperwork is complete and control all health and safety aspects of the chalet. You will look after the guests, from pre-arrival contact to greeting them on arrival and chalet visits and deal with any requests or issues. You will need to help with guest’s driver service and ski hosting when necessary. We are looking for a flexible, problem solving and enthusiastic person who is extremely professional with our guests, motivating for our staff and ready to be on hand whenever needed.

This role still allows for daily ski time and is hugely rewarding when your team is happy and producing excellent results.

CHALET CHEF

Essential Experience
Cooking in a professional environment.

The Role
A creative role where you have the freedom to design your own fine dining menu, shop for the food and cook breakfast, afternoon tea and a four course meal six days of the week. You will need to be a competent cook, with impressive presentation skills and able to work to a budget. You will also need to be a flexible member of the team, and fulfil roles other than cooking, such as your chef paperwork, cleaning the kitchen and communal areas and helping your host when needed. You should enjoy guest interaction and be adaptable to guest’s needs and dietary requirements. The small numbers of guests in our chalets (6 -12) means you have time to create amazing dishes, whilst still having time to go skiing.

Essential Experience

The Role
A great position with a focus on customer service, cleaning and hosting. All our chalets have a host and a chef so you will always be working in a team with the support of your chalet manager. You will need to be very friendly, professional, hardworking and pro-active and you will be rewarded by plenty of ski time, a potential weekly bonus and a fantastic experience. The role has a high focus on housekeeping and you will need to have extremely high cleaning standards. The Role
Supporting the Resort Management Team by taking responsibility for the administration, budgets, accounts, guest registration, staff paperwork, supplier relations and office management functions in the resort of St Anton. You will also share the ski hosting and guest driver service rota with other managers. We are looking for someone who is able to manage their own time and deadlines and set up and organise the back office functions for the resort team. This is a crucial role with lots of financial responsibility and will suit those who are self motivated and know their way around an excel spreadsheet. You will be responsible for all the chalet budgets and will work with the chalet staff to ensure that they operate within their set budgets. The jobs offers plenty of job satisfaction and mountain time. CHALET COUPLE - CHALET FOUNETS AVAL, COURCHEVEL 1850

Essential Experience
Host: Cleaning and hosting and customer service experience.
Chef: Cooking and customer service experience.

The Role
Running a chalet together as a chef and host team. The jobs are split in two, a chef and a host, so one of you will have to have a very strong cooking background. Whether this is from working in a restaurant kitchen environment or just being a passionate cook use to cooking for groups of friends and family our practical cooking interview will put your skills to the test. The chef will also help with the cleaning, do the food ordering and have the ability to work within a budget. The host will need experience in hospitality with waitressing and housekeeping. Cleaning is a large part of this role as well as being the ‘front of house’ hosting the evening dinner parties, serving food and drink and being the friendly face to help with all guest enquiries and requests. Both of you will work extremely well as a team and both have a flexible and hardworking attitude. Your customer service skills should be excellent, with an understanding that you will do everything in your power to provide an above and beyond ski holiday experience.

CHALET SUPERVISOR

This is the perfect opportunity if you have already worked a season as a chalet host and are looking for the next step up in resort jobs. You still get the experience of working in a chalet as part of team but take on an extra bit of responsibility. You will have needed to successfully completed a Winter ski season job and have further experience in hospitality, in bars, restaurants or hotels. You would ideally have had an overseeing or supervisory role, and have the confidence to lead the team of four staff.

The role involves the usual duties of a chalet host, doing the job to the highest of standards and making sure the team follows you to do the same. You will carry out cleaning checks, put together rotas and be organised to know you have everything in the chalet that you need. You will have the responsibility that you know when the guests are arriving and departing in normal weeks and split chalet weeks and the staff and chalet are ready.

Sous Chef

Use your cooking skills and experience to work in our brand new high spec chalet Eden Rock in St Anton. You will be a confident cook already, and be able to assist with all catering aspects. Happy to work under an experienced head chef your role will be very varied from deep cleaning the kitchen to creating the dessert. The kitchen will be run with a head chef and two sous chefs cooking for a combined (three chalets in one building) guest number of twenty.

You need to be presentable, have great customer service skills and be friendly and personable as your role will still involve lots of guest interaction as you will be designated to a chalet as their chef.

KITCHEN AND CHALET ASSISTANT

Essential Experience
Waitressing/waitering and housekeeping in a high end venue. Cooking in a domestic or professional environment for over nine people.

The Role
A support role where you will spend a lot of time in our flagship chalet’s kitchen assisting the chefs with prep, doing kitchen porter duties (including washing up) and cooking the staff meals. You will also be helping the other chalets hosts set up for guest’s dinner service and help to serve the food and clear away. It is a flexible role where you will also be helping where needed as a chalet host. You will need to have a great attention to detail and an extremely high standard of cleaning, cleaning both the kitchen and communal areas. It is a guests facing role so you will need to be friendly and professional and able to provide a concierge service with excellent knowledge of the area and amenities.

You will be working general chalet hours (morning and evening) so will have plenty of ski time and have the bonus of working in team environment of up to nine staff. DRIVER AND CHALET ASSISTANT

Essential Experience
Winter driving, cleaning and customer service.

The Role
There will be two people in this position working on a rota basis. The rotas work alternately on the hours of 8am-11am then 6pm-11pm (one completed day) and 11am to 6pm (one completed day). The morning shift will be the guest’s driver service and cleaning the communal/spa area when not driving and the evening shift will be manning the chalet’s private bar and helping out where needed for the evening service. The other 11am-6pm shift is when you will be on call for the all day driver service and waiting at the chalet when no lifts are needed. Here you will be cleaning the spa and communal areas, providing a concierge service to the guests and helping where needed. You will need to be a very responsible driver able to safely manoeuvre a nine person VW caravelle in snowy conditions.

You will have one day off a week, and have the same day as the chalet staff every other week.

DRIVER AND HANDYMAN - ST ANTON

The Role
The position will involve the following tasks

  • Driving guests each morning and evening (on a rota basis)
  • Running the re-cycling system for all chalets
  • Delivering supplies to all chalets and reacting to solve problems when chalet staff need help (i.e. missing items)
  • Ski hosting (on a rota basis)
  • Handyman duties

We are looking for someone who is practical, flexible, and always positive with a can do attitude. You will have to organise your own time and be ready to adapt to constantly changing demands to ensure all tasks are completed. You will need to be a very responsible driver able to safely manoeuvre a nine person VW caravelle in snowy conditions.

You need to be happy to work to a different timetable to the chalet staff and be prepared for an early 6am start twice a week.

This is an independent, responsible role where you will be working closely alongside the managers and manage your time so you can increase your ski time as much as possible whilst still completing your duties to a high standard.
