Cosy, atmospheric Haus Christoph is tucked away among snow-covered pine trees – and has the priceless advantage of being virtually ski-in ski-out, so no walking to the lift in ski boots here.
It is located beside St Anton’s main home
run. In the morning, guests can click into their bindings and ski or board down to the lifts or to meet their ski school group – although of course a Supertravel vehicle is also available for the trip to the base area.
Warm and welcoming, the largely wood-
panelled interior adds to the sensation of Tyrolean tradition that the chalet exudes – the owner, Christoph, is a skilled carpenter and he has lovingly created most of the furniture. A timbered balcony off the sitting area gives panoramic views.
The surrounding snowy woodland enhances
the feel that this is a true Alpine hideaway. Perfect both for clocking up the ski miles and simply enjoying the romance of the setting. more...

Yet despite its picturesque position, Haus Christoph has another ace to play – it’s a stone’s throw from the Mooserwirt, one of the Alps’ most famous
piste-side bars. So aprËs-ski lovers can enjoy the boisterous fun there at the end of the ski day before retreating to the calm and charm of their
snow-cloaked mountain retreat.
Those who choose to stay in Haus Christoph
are naturally tempted to spend their evenings enjoying its cosy tranquillity – but guests drawn to the village can use the bus which stops just three minutes from the chalet. The walk down to the village is very pleasant and takes about 25 minutes. The bus, or a taxi for night owls, might be the better option for the return.
The comfortable main accommodation of three
bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, is given further flexibility with a further two beds on the mezzanine floor, ideal for children or young adults.
