Stylish, flexible and supremely comfortable, Supertravel’s fantastic new property in Zermatt, Chalet Shalimar, maintains our impeccably high levels. Sleeping up to 20 people, it conveniently splits into four apartments which can be taken individually or combined for larger groups.

Choose from one of the two 4-person    

apartments,Furi andSchwarzee, one of the two 6-person apartments, Hörnli and Triftji, or combine them to create a larger apartment sleeping 8 or 12. Guests staying here can eat as one group or dine separately, and flexible living areas mean there is always somewhere to find peace and quiet.

No trip to Zermatt is complete without a

Matterhorn view and chalet Shalimar has one of the best. Every apartment has either a balcony or patio facing this impressive mountain, so you can relax on the loungers, breathe the mountain air and take it all in without lifting a finger.

The entrance level of this virtually ski-in, ski-out chalet features a ski room with heated boot rack. The two 4-person apartments found on the ground floor can be opened up to create enough space for 8. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom, and the open plan sitting/dining area has that cosy chalet feel with a log burning fire and large window facing the Matterhorn.

The next two floors contain two 6-person

duplexes, which can be taken individually or combined for a group of 12. A lift will take you up to the first floor, where each apartment has three large en suite rooms with balconies.

The lift and stairs then continue to the second

floor, where the living areas are found, containing stylish sitting rooms leading to balconies which also have breathtaking Matterhorn views. The separate TV room is a perfect place for the kids to play or for you to catch up on the news or hide with your favourite book.

One of the highlights of Chalet Shalimar is

the wellness centre shared by all appartments. Head below ground and relax after a hard day on the fantastic Zermatt slopes. Featuring a swimming pool, sauna and steam room overlooking the Matterhorn, this is the perfect touch of luxury for your ski holiday.

Location-wise, chalet Shalimar sits in the quiet

area of Winkelmatten, and when the snow is good, it is ski-in, ski-out. A scenic 15 minute stroll into the village centre of Zermatt, and with bus stops nearby, guests here are well connected, and late night electric taxis are also on hand throughout the resort if walking from town feels like too much effort.
