On this safari tour you'll stay in luxurious tented camps and travel with a qualified professional guide who will delight in sharing their knowledge of and passion for the local flora and fauna.

Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Botswana

Your adventure begins as you're met by your guide and transferred by road to the Santawani Concession, a journey of around two and a half hours. En route you'll pass through small villages, giving you a chance to observe the local communities, then through conservation areas where you'll catch your first glimpses of the Botswana wildlife, and on to your tented camp.

Day 2: Okavango Delta

Today you'll begin exploring the mixed woodlands and open grasslands of the Santawani Concession, with both day and nighttime game drives and guided bush walks.

Day 3: Okavango Delta

Today you'll have a second full day in the Santawani Concession. Your guide will tailor your exploration to your own interests, and many of the guides are expert photographers who'll help to make sure that you take many exceptional images home with you.

Day 4: Okavango Delta

There's a treat in store after breakfast this morning: a light-aircraft flight over the shimmering Okavango Delta to Xigera, where you will explore the channels of the Okavango Delta by boat and mokoro, a traditional canoe.

Day 5: Okavango Delta

You'll continue exploring Xigera today, either by boat or on land depending on the water levels, taking in the lush vegetation and memorable wildlife.

Day 6: Okavango Delta

Today is your final day of exploring Xigera. This is an area renowned for its birding, especially the Pel's fishing-owl, and water birds including the African skimmer, slaty egret and wattled crane.

Day 7: Depart Botswana

This morning you'll transfer by light aircraft from Xigera to Maun Airport for your onward journey.
