Then take a long-tailed boat trip to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts or River Kwai Resotel, passing unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. After lunch at the hotel take an exciting boat ride downstream and visit the Hell Fire Pass Memorial. Tonight after dinner at your hotel enjoy a presentation of traditional tribal dances by the villagers.

Day 2: The River Kwai to Bangkok

After breakfast you can visit a Mon tribal village or go elephant riding through the bamboo forest. Then return to your hotel, check out, and enjoy lunch at the pier. In the aftenoon you are taken to the nearby railway station for a memorable and historical ride on the Death Railway during which you pass over the original wooden viaduct which was built by Allied POWs. After this moving experience you begin the journey back to Bangkok where you are dropped off at your hotel. This short tour is a real must while staying in Bangkok.
