This is a real Down Under adventure with a difference as you travel form the lovely city of Perth and back discovering the delights of the Coral Coast. Your tour takes you from the city as far as Ningaloo before you make the return trip and along the way you will visit lots of memorable places and experience the Australian way of life. There is plenty of time for relaxing at some superb beach resorts and taking part in exciting activities.

Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Perth

On arrival you will be met at Perth airport and driven to your hotel in this vibrant city, the Crown Towers, for a two night stay. Flush with mining money, Perth frequently scores top billing on lists of the world's most liveable cities. The capital of Western Australia defies its remote location by boldly flaunting its riches, both natural and material. Sprawling King's Park is a focal point of downtown and work hard, play hard is the mantra here as locals take advantage of the Swan River and the string of pearly white beaches.

Day 2: Rottnest Island

Today a coach will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to Barrack Street Jetty, the departure point of your full day Discover Rottnest tour. Cruise to Rottnest Island, with morning tea served on board. On arrival enjoy a guided introduction walk, followed by an Island Discovery coach tour to explore the beauty and tranquility of Rottnest in air-conditioned comfort. This tour includes historical, cultural and natural points of interest. After lunch at Hotel Rottnest you have free time before making the return journey to the city.

Day 3: Perth to Geraldton

Today you collect your car from downtown and begin your journey up the stunning Coral Coast. First pit stop is Geraldton a booming coastal city with fantastic beaches. It is the Coral Coast's only city and a highly important centre of regional activity. With its perfect location along the beachfront, the Waldorf Geraldton where you stay tonight, is an easy walk or cycle to the marina and the town centre. At the marina you can indulge yourself at some of the mid-west's best cafes, restaurants, bars and shops.

Day 4: Geraldton to Monkey Mia

This morning after breakfast you continue your journey up to Monkey Mia, which is situated on the Western Australian coastline within the beautiful shores of Shark Bay. Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, where you stay for the next two nights, offers wonderful beachfront accommodation. Shark Bay is home to one of the world’s best-known dolphin encounters and the property features a swimming pool, hot tub, bar, restaurant and tennis and volleyball courts.

Day 5: Monkey Mia dolphins and digeridoos

A day at leisure and a time to enjoy the free dolphin interaction sessions held daily, take a kayak along the bay or relax on a sunset catamaran cruise. This evening join your Wula Guda Nyinda tour at Monkey Mia Amphitheatre, which includes a Didgeridoo Dreaming Evening experience - an amazing night time adventure under a sky of magnificent stars. Sit around a campfire and learn the traditional way to cook fish or bush tucker and about local Aboriginal culture and history.

Day 6: Monkey Mia to Coral Bay

It's worth making an early start today for your six hour drive from Monkey Mia along the coast to Coral Bay. This is a wonderful drive and when you reach your destination you can relax on the stunning beach after checking in to the Ninggaloo Coral Bay resort hotel. Take some time to explore the area for the next day you will be leaving to experience the Ningaloo reef. Lots to see and do here and plenty of fine restaurants from which to choose.

Day 7: Coral Bay to Ningaloo Reef

Today you say farewell to lovely Coral Bay and make the final leg of your outward drive to Exmouth and Ningaloo beach where you stay for the next two nights at Mantarays Ningaloo. This is the only resort on Sunrise Beach and represents your gateway to the world heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and the Cape Range National Park. You can enjoy a relaxing time here or take part in some of the many activities the region has to offer.

Day 8: Ningaloo Reef

This morning you will be picked up by an Exmouth Diving Centre vehicle to start a Snorkel Safari Boat tour. Snorkel along the the west side or the Muiron Islands exploring sights accessible only by boat and discover why everyone falls in love with Ningaloo! Search for wildlife to view from the boat such as dolphins, dugongs, humpback whales and whale sharks and if you come across manta rays or turtles the boat will stop for you to swim with them. All equipment and lunch is included.

Day 9: Exmouth to Carnarvon

Make the most of your remaining time here before jumping in your car and starting to head back down the coast to the tropical fruit town of Carnarvon. After checking into your hotel, the Best Western Hospitality Inn, you have time to visit a banana plantation, view the spectacular blowholes and from May to October, buy freshly caught seafood directly from the factories. Lots to see and do in Carnavon and some good seafood restaurants to try.

Day 10: Carnarvon to Kalbarri

Say goodbye to Carnarvon after breakfast at your hotel and continue you journey south bearing in mind that there is still plenty to see and do on the way back to Perth over the coming days. With its pristine beaches and towering coastal cliffs, Kalbarri is the ideal place for the nature lover. Kalbarri is situated along the winding banks of the Murchison River and adjacent to the Kalbarri National Park and tonight you will be staying in the Kalbarri Edge Resort.

Day 11: Kalbarri

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Kalbarri during which you can explore the superb Kalbarri National Park where you find abundant wildlife. In this park are the magnificent Murchison River Gorges, and today you can take a walk to the natural rock arch known as Nature’s Window, or spend the day fishing, diving or just relaxing and soaking up the sun. Kalbarri is know for its seaside cliffs, estuary beach and wild pelicans and the coast is home to dolphins and humpback whales which can be viewed from a boardwalk.

Day 12: Kalbarri to to Cervantes

Make your way further south today to the town of Cervantes and the Nambung National Park, stopping along the drive at Jurian Bay where you find pristine white sands and enticing clear waters. The Nambung National Park, which includes the Pinnacles, is located just 15 miles south of Cervantes and you can spend time here exploring the amazing pinnacle rock formations. Tonight you are booked into the superb Pinnacles Edge Resort.

Day 13: Cervantes to Scarborough

Spend some more time this morning exploring Cervantes and the surrounding area before beginning the final leg of this wonderful journey which brings you down to the vibrant seaside town of Scarborough just outside Perth where you stay for your final two nights of the tour at the Seashells hotel. Scarborough beach is one of the most popular spots with Perth residents who swarm there on a daily basis to enjoy the pristine white sand, turquoise waters and great waves.

Day 14: Scarborough Beach

After all your travels, enjoy your final day relaxing on wonderful Scarborough Beach and topping up your tan. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Seashells is a two minute walk from the beach, a few miles from Wembley Golf Course and close to the Aquarium of Western Australia. This is a great place to chill out but you can always drive into Perth and do some more sightseeing in the city if you have already had enough sunshine during the rest of the trip.

Day 15: End of tour

Maybe time for a final dip in the sea or some souvenir shopping before leaving Scarborough Beach and driving back to Perth airport, dropping off your car and catching an onward flight or beginning your journey back home. This 15 day tour makes a great holiday in its own right, but could well be added on to visits to Sydney, Melbourne, Ayers Rock and the Red Centre, the Sunshine Coast and the Great Barrier Reef to make your experiences Down Under complete.
