Day 1: Arrive Sydney

Arrive in Sydney. Make your own way to your Sydney accommodation

Day 2: Sydney

After breakfast make your way to the famous Sydney Harbour bridge.for your BridgeClimb. You will be led by one of BridgeClimb's professional Climb Leaders, on a 3.5 hour guided journey (including preparation and briefing), to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Climb takes you along the outer arch of the Bridge on catwalks and ladders all the way to the summit, 134 metres above Sydney Harbour. The steady incline to the summit leaves you free to focus your attention on the surroundings, with the opportunity to witness 360 degree views of Sydney including east to the Sydney Opera House, west to the Blue Mountains and the Harbour city surrounds. Day 3: Sydney

Today you have a tour included of the famous Sydney Opera House. See inside the world's most recognisable sails. Experience this miracle of architecture and engineering. A work of art that came into existence against impossible odds, to become one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world. Working with new, rich audio-visual components, where images are projected onto the fabric of the building, your guide will take you on an emotional journey, engrossing you in a story to rival any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns.

Day 4: Sydney

Final day in Sydney. Why not enjoy one one the famous beaches around the city or visit one of the other numerous attractions this wonderful city offers

Day 5: Sydney to Blue Mountains

Pick up you pre arranged hire car downtown today to begin your seld drive experience around New South Wales. First stop the spectaclular Blue Mountains The major scenic attraction is Echo Point, from where the best views of the Jamison Valley and the magnificent Three Sisters rock formation are. Visit the spectacular Wentworth Falls or enjoy a trip on the scenic railway with dramatic views of the Jamieson Valley. Maybe visit the picturesque town of Leura and dine in one of the many fine the evening

Day 6: Blue Mountains

Enjoy a day at leisure in the Blue Mountains. There are plenty of lookouts, waterfalls and walking trails in the area as well as interesting cafes, shops and restaurants in towns of Katoomba, Leura and Blackheath. Perhaps visit the Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum or drive out to look at the Jenolan Caves

Day 7: Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley

Leave behind the Blue Mountains today to travel to one of Australia's most famous wine regions... Hunter Valley. With wineries in abundance, take the opportunity to taste and purchase some of Australia’s finest wines. Explore the art and gourmet delights that the Hunter Valley offers.

Day 8: Hunter Valley

A Full day at leisure to decide what wines and highlights you would like to experience

Day 9: Hunter Valley to Port Stephens

Leave the Hunter Valley and travel northeast to Port Stephens. Known as the Blue Water Wonderland, Port Stephens is a natural bay 2 1/2 times the size of Sydney Harbour and almost enclosed by two dormant volcanic headlands. There is fabulous seafood and over 26 golden sandy beaches to explore. Perhaps take an afternoon cruise to see the Bottlenose dolphins

Day 10: Port Stephens to Port Macquarie

Following the famous Pacific Highway and spectacular coastline you will reach Port Macquarie, which is renowned for its eight beautiful beaches.

Day 11: Port Macquarie to Coffs Harbour

Continue today to Coffs Harbour. In a short time you will be back on the Pacific Highway travelling north to Kempsey and Nambucca Heads. Visit the Koala Hospital where more than over 200 injured Koalas are housed each year and take a walk and talk tour at this very special facility. Nambucca Heads lies at the centre of the North Coast region, famous for its surf beaches, fresh oysters and seafood and the colourful Vee Wall where visitors can leave their mark. Drive inland and drop by the Pub With No Beer, which boasts its own range of boutique brews. Historic towns like Gladstones, Bellibrook, Bowraville, Dorrigo and Bellingen make great stopovers with their colonial and art deco shops.

Day 12: Coffs Harbour- Byron Bay

Today you leave Coffs Harbour via South Grafton and Maclean. At Maclean, an interesting detour to take is to join the coast road to Yamba, which is a scenic and popular surfing beach and fishing resort. Later rejoin the Pacific Highway back at Maclean, travel through the town of Woodburn to Ballina. At Ballina, again leave the Pacific Highway and drive along the picturesque coast road through the pretty resort town of Lennox Head, to reach Byron Bay, where you stay and realx for the next 3 nights

Day 13: Byron Bay

Full day at leisure to enjoy this wonderful coastal town. Why not take a surf lesson or head into the hinterland

Day 14: Byron Bay

Another full day at lesiure to enjoy the region and just relax on the beach!

Day 15: Depart to Sydney

Today return your rental car at Bellina and catch your flight back to Sydney
