Spellbinding Easter Island, or Rapa Nui as it is called, will capture your heart and soul in the four days you have there. This tiny speck of land is one of the most isolated places on Earth and is blessed with an extraordinary collection of archaeological sites, including the iconic moai scattered amid an eerie landscape. These enigmatic giant statues are shrouded with an aura and form the island's most enduring images. But Rapa Nui is much more than a mind-boggling open-air museum, it is a superb playground. Scuba-divers swear the waters are the most crystal clear in the world, while surfers rave about the Pacific waves. And if you want to relax, a handful of sandy beaches await. Easter Island is a magical place that never fails to make visitors' jaws drop.
