Sacha Lodge, in Ecuador's Amazon Basin, is a 5,000-acre private reserve beside the River Napo, and accessible only by river. The lodge has 26 comfortable and spacious rooms and offers three and four night inclusive programmes. This is the perfect place to view wildlife in its natural, pristine habitat and learn about the ecosystems of the Neotropics from naturalist and native Quichua guides. Since opening in 1992, Sacha Lodge sustains a healthy balance between economic development, rainforest conservation, local human advancement and respect for local culture.

Other attractions include a Butterfly farm, Tree Tower, built around an enormous Kapok tree, canoe excursions through flooded forests and lake swimming pool.

Several trails from the lodge lead through pristine forest where 150 foot kapok trees tower above and roots form huge buttresses.
