Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Amman

After touching down at Queen Alia International airport you will be met by one of our representatives who will help with customs and passport formalities before taking you to meet your private driver who will transfer you to your hotel in the capital city Amman. Time for some exploration before having dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Amman and the Dead Sea

Begin today by visiting a downtown market, the city centre and a traditional souk. Then drive to Madaba, the city of mosaics, and on to Mt Nebo for stunning views over the Jordan Valley. Then head down to the Dead Sea for a relaxing time in one of the spas where you can have mud treatments and float in the salty waters. Drive on to Petra for overnight.

Day 3: Petra

Today you will visit the eighth wonder of the ancient world - the lost city of Petra. This Rose Red city is Jordan's most valuable treasure and its greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city carved into the sheer rock face more than 2,000 years ago. Enter the city through the Siq, a narrow crack in the Nubian sandstone, then be prepared to have your breath taken away by what lies ahead. Overnight at Petra.

Day 4: Aqaba and Wadi Rum

After breakfast travel to the Red Sea port city of Aqaba for a short tour then head out into the magical desert of Wadi Rum, home of Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy a mint tea at the visitors centre before taking a jeep owned by one of the local Bedouins for a trip into the moon like landscape. At the end of the day return to Amman for overnight.

Day 5: Amman

Your tour of Jordan's highlights ends today but there may be time to discover a little more of the capital city of the Hashemite Kingdom by visiting museums, the Citadel, the amphitheatre, or the modern part of the city before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight or journey home.
