Hotel Jerome

Hotel Jerome 4 Star

from £217 per room night

Situated in the centre of Aspen with convenient access to town, the Hotel Jerome is a historic landmark establishment renowned for its relaxed elegance, gracious service and authentic mountain spirit. A recent redesign has improved on the iconic original while maintaining its historic legacy through architectural preservation, to offer a luxury boutique hotel that boasts a unique blend of contemporary luxury, historic heritage, deluxe accommodation and amenities for the perfect ski holiday. To get here, it’s either a 10-minute drive from the local Pitkin Country Airport, or a longer, but more scenic four-hour drive from Denver.

There are various levels of accommodation at the Hotel Jerome, all boasting superior luxury. Even though Deluxe King rooms fall into the standard category, they still offer a 40-inch plasma TV, desk, loveseat or lounge chair, mountain views, unique artwork and interior details. One-bedroom suites fall into the luxury category, offering a bedroom and separate living room with a sleeper leather sofa, oversized desk and dining table. The Presidential suite is the most upmarket, with a master bedroom equipped with a 42-inch TV, king bed, lounge chair and ottoman; a living area overlooking Aspen Mountain and with its own 42-inch TV, and dining area complete with dining table, chairs, wet bar and mini fridge.

The Jerome is well located for the Aspen Mountain’s Silver Queen Gondola, or offers a free shuttle to the other three mountains – Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass. Together, the area offers 5,300 acres of terrain for skiers and boarders of every level and experience. The area is also packed with opportunities to try other winter sports, such as heli-skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. If you fancy taking a day off skiing, guests can also learn to prepare delicious modern mountain fare during one of the hotel’s cooking classes.

Head to Prospect, a modern American bistro serving delicious dishes in a stylish dining room or on an elegant terrace during warmer months. The Living Room with its traditional wood-panelled décor and armchairs is the ideal place to relax over a drink or American tapas; while J Bar is a popular hang out for the ski crowd offering drinks, food and cocktails served in an authentic bar with a hint of the Old West.

The hotel’s intimate Auberge Spa is a place for relaxation after a hard day on the slopes. Choose from relaxing massages and invigorating facials carried out using Marie Veronique’s 100% organic skincare products.
