Mammoth Mountain
California dreamin' in the sun and the snow of the spectacular Sierra Nevada

At 11,053 feet, Mammoth boasts the highest summit of any California resort - and of course this makes for high quality snow cover, not to mention breathtaking, far-reaching views.

It is set spectacularly along the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the Inyo National Forest. Incredibly, the ski season can last until July - and despite receiving an annual average snowfall of 400 ins, Mammoth also basks in 300 days of sunshine per year.
