Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Miami, Florida

Take some time to explore exciting Miami before your cruise begins. People-watchers will enjoy South Beach's Ocean Drive, while architecture buffs will love the Art Deco District. If you're looking for something a bit different, there are world-class museums and shopping venues too. In Miami, there really is something for everyone and if you are a sun-worshipper the lovely beaches along the city's famous ocean strip are something special.

Day 2: Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas

Your first port of call on the cruise is Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. At this 250-acre paradise in the Berry Islands chain, you can dance to a local band in front of the bandstand or relax in a private beachfront cabana. The more energetic can go for a hike along a trail to the old lighthouse or splash around the Aqua Park. Then there's swimming, snorkeling or kayaking opportunities before playing a rousing game of volleyball with your shipmates.

Day 3: At Sea

Your first full day at sea and a good time to get to know all that the Sirena has to offer. Last year the vessel underwent a 35-day, $40 million refurbishment in Marseille, France, to elevate the ship to the Oceania Cruises’ standard of elegance. Drawing on the recent transformation of Nautica as inspiration, as well as two great re-imagined restaurants she now features additions such as Baristas and the cook-to-order grill at Terrace Cafe. And the entertainment on board is second to none.

Day 4: Santiago de Cuba

Today the Sirena arrives at the island of Cuba, where your adventures begin in earnest. A tropical and energetic cultural epi-centre, Santiago de Cuba is the country’s second largest city and has played an instrumental role in the evolution of Cuban music, literature and architecture. Wedged between the looming Sierra Maestra mountain range and the aquamarine Caribbean Sea, the city offers a plethora of rich heritage and cultural diversions amid a dramatic backdrop.

Day 5: Cienfuegos, Cuba

Situated in a beautiful bay in the heart of Cuba’s fertile agricultural region on the southern coast, Cienfuegos will quietly charm you with its French spirit, tranquil seaside setting and neoclassical architecture. Known as La Perla del Sur (the Pearl of the South), Cienfuegos was originally founded by French settlers and its city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the ornate Palacio de Valle, take in stunning views as you explore Punta Gorda, or discover the nearby town of Trinidad with its colonial architecture.

Day 6: At sea

The last of your two full days at sea so make the most of it. As well as the fine dining and entertainment there is never a dull moment on the Sirena. From reading comfortably in the library to sipping fine vintages at a wine tasting, a wonderful spectrum of enriching activities await. Attend an engaging guest lecture or enjoy the upper deck as you improve your golf game on the putting green. Spend the afternoon with friends at a lively trivia contest or bridge tournament or simply relax with one of Canyon Ranch SpaClub’s treatments.

Day 7: Havana, Cuba

Probably the highlight of the cruise today when the Sirena arrives at Cuba's colourful capital city Havana. The door to Cuba’s soul, Havana captivates with its larger-than-life culture, sultry rhythms and weathered beauty. Take a relaxing stroll along the evocative Malecón and get lost among the Baroque facades and colonial cobblestone alleys of Old Havana. Visit the grandiose Capitolio Nacional, see the art collection at Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and check out those amazing old cars that are parked everywhere.

Day 8: Havana, Cuba

Another wonderful day in Havana, which you can walk around on your own or take one of a number of tours which can be booked on board. Enjoy memorable explorations such as touring one of Havana’s venerable old cigar factories for an inside look at the birthplace of these world-famous smokes and the centuries-old process of how they are made. Sip a daiquiri at Hemingway’s favorite haunt, El Floridita, listen to a live jazz group and simply savour some unforgettable moments in this unique corner of the world.

Day 9: Miami, Florida

Today the Sirena arrives back into Miami having cruised through the night from Havana and your memorable voyage comes to an end. Say farewell to new found friends then make sure you see more of Miami, possibly staying on for a few days and extending your holiday visiting the nearby Florida Everglades or taking a trip out to Key West before heading to the airport to catch an onward flight or begin your journey back home.
